Physician and ornithologist of Columbus, Ohio. Collection consists of correspondence, bird notes, and miscellaneous material. Letters from Elliott Coues, William Brewster, Frank W. Langdon, and John S. Newberry mention birds sighted and species discovered. Letters from 1877-1883 discuss Wheaton's work, "Report on Ohio Birds" and contain congratulations from naturalists throughout the United States.
